I know this is gonna sound like an odd question, but does anyone have any advice on how to cut glass? I have a saw and it is working, its just taking forever! any ideas on how to speed up the process?

There's an easier way. You can by an inexpensive tool at the hardware store that scores the glass. Then you carefully snap it, and the glass will break along that scored line. It's really easy with straight lines, curves are a bit trickier. I took a stained glass making course once, and this is how we broke it.

It should...I bet the people at the hardware store can offer guidelines. if it's an important project, bring the glass with you. Maybe they'll do it for you. Never hurts to ask.

Well I am not sure exactly where you are located, but if you have a store such as Meijer's, they actually sell a glass cutter as I do remember seeing them there not too long ago. I've never actually used one myself, but the concept of it is that it makes a deep scratch which kind of acts like a perforation in the glass. You 'draw' out the line or design, then tap the glass and it breaks along the scratch. Again, I have never actually used one myself, but the theory makes sense.
