Hi, I want to buy a house soon and I want to hear what people has to say about their ways of checking the house and seeing if its a good place to live in. Other than the price, what other things do you look at before buying the house?

Location is a huge factor... I'm currently in the process of buying a house and what really pulled me in to the place is that it is within walking distance of where I work and go to school. Other things to look at are the number of bedrooms & bathrooms, what kind of neighborhood it is, how old the house is, if it needs any work done to it... There are tons of factors that come into choosing the right house.

Hi theuniverse100.There are a lot of factors to consider when buying a house. Is it a newly built house or a used one?The number of bedrooms and bathrooms are very important for me...and the kitchen as well. The security of the place should also be a primary concern. It's got to have a safe and peaceful neighborhood. There are so many things to consider like plumbing, etc. Make a list of all the things you want for this involves a lot of money. You would want to check all details even small ones. I wish you the best in your house search...hope I was able to help. Happy mylottin!
