and feel sometimes you need a place like AA for myLot people as well? This would mean that every waking moment you find yourself thinking about myLot, or find yourself in here posting most of your Free time here as well. Maybe you have even had your family members start feeling like you are ignoring them because you spend so much time in here as well.
But if there was such a thing to help wean us off of myLot a little more, what are some things that could be useful in there, and if you chose not to spend so much time in here, what would you be doing with your online time in your life as well? And I wonder if there are other things in life on the Internet as in other sites you might be also addicted too as well?

No, I'm definitely not a mylot addict. When I first started a couple of years ago I always wanted to come home, get online, and catch up with things on mylot. But over the years, my enthusiasm has waned. Not just because we aren't paid as much as we used to be, but because of some of the attitudes I see on here. Not just the 'mean' people, but how the 'nice' people respond to the mean people. It gets silly. I remember one member who has since left this site. I truly believe she thought she was queen of mylot. I'm not kidding, it was like mylot was her dictatorship. I like to stay out of the fights. Luckily, there are still great people who keep me coming back. Maybe not as much, but I'm still here.

I'm not an addict in the sense that I go through withdrawl if I can't get on MyLot (or Gather for that matter), but I do like to keep at it, because of the money I am able to make on here, and because of the wonderful people that I am able to meet. It's interesting finding time, because my husband and I are sharing a computer, at the present time.

I am more addicted to a similar site called Gather. It also pays (better than MyLot) and allows the same type of article publishing, except it's more flexible about HTML and subject matter. I don't know of anyone who's been kicked off of Gather, but I was booted from here a year ago and there are a lot of words here that aren't allowed (the nickname for Richard, for instance), where Gather allows almost everything to be posted as long as it's flagged as adult.

That was before I feel I am addicted to post and post to mylot. But when the time that I started to have a job outside the tendency to post all of my free time subject is become lesser. Now i was busy doing my job outside but i always think of my lot always on how i have enoungh time to do posting. Well, if I have free time i do mylot posting and by this time I consider myself as inlove always to mylot and i will never leave this site as long as mylot is existing in the internet.

I can't say that I am as addicted to mylot as I was when I first started several years ago. But I do sign on daily and try to respond to discussion everday, but I just don't do it like I did when I first started mylot. I think my newest additiction is playing games at winster.

I wouldn't say I am a myLot addict, but I certainly enjoy meeting and making friends with people from countries around the world. I come on to myLot every evening after I get back home from my full time job. That is one way of relaxation for me for the day too !

I can't consider myself a mylotaholic yet. Although I do find myself logging on atleast a couple of times a day. Mostly, I am just trying to make my goals and keep adding to my earnings. I plan on using my earnings for my other addiciton. I'm a Disneyholic. I love to spend time planning our family trip to Disney every year. So this year I am going to sock my mylot earnings away and use them for something fun while we're on vacation.
So in answer to the other part of your post, I spend my other online time mostly looking up Disneyworld info, and going on a Disney-specific website for my planning fix. I could spend hours online between mylot and the other site I frequent, but unfortunately life interrups with things like my full time job and household chores and well, sleep

Oh without a doubt I am a myLot addict. I won't say sorry and I refuse treatment. God and prayer comes first along with my family but myLot is and will remain a huge part of my recovery. I don't see myLot as an illness but rather as a cure. I am somewhat a disabled person and I have chosen to pull away from the people I have met in this one horse town. I know I am a sinner but it didn't happen from gossip and that's what runs this small town. I have never met any of my myLot friends and for me that's not a bad thing although it is a dream that one day I will meet at least one. When things get me down or I have personal issues I feel so comfortable coming on and asking my myLot family to pray for me or perhaps just listen and give me your opinion. I do suffer health issues and I'm not always able to answer all my friends posts, but I'm appreciated when I'm here and never hated for not being here. Sad as this sounds it is the Gods' Honest Truth, other than my daughter and her family, myLot has done more for me than any other family members. I honestly do not know what I did before myLot. God Bless dear and have a terrific day!!!

I admit that I was once a mylot addict. But that was more than two years ago when I first got to know mylot. I was so crazy about making money here that I logged in every day to check my earnings and post and respond as many discussions as possible, which took up a lot of time. The misfortune was that I didn't make as much money as I thought, even much less, and that was a big shock because it was the first time that I knew about making money online. So I was full of hope with mylot, fancying that I could make much pocket money by working hard here.
When I found the opposite fact, I began to think about whether it was wise to spend so much time here. I could spend those time on reading and working, from which I could earn abundant money, compared with which, the money made online seemed penniless. And from then on, I spent less time here, just to see if there were any interesting topics.

Addicted who me? No, mine is not an addiction because it's a cure for what is possibly another addiction - window shopping!
If I'm on the Lot I'm not out in the streets looking at all the things I could be buying but can't because of the lack of work at the moment.
MyLot is my medicine and it keeps me off the streets
Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
