Well I was successful at raising the one hundred dollars in a day

I am happy to let everyone know that I was able to come up with the hundred dollars that I needed for today. Luckily I didn't have to use the pawn shop. I ended up borrowing from family and I used some of my gold as collateral. So I told them I would pay them back and let them keep a pair of gold earrings for helping me out.
