Should we go after the illegal immigrant or do we go after the businesses?

I just heard about a raid where 28 people where picked up (all were illegal). It had me wondering. Should we be going after the illegals or the businesses that hire them? I think both. Fine the heck out of the businesses and then deport the illegals. what do you think?

As a legal immigrant who went through all the proper procedures to get my citizenship then I do not agree with illegals. First they should go after those who bring thee poor people here as cheap labor. If they are arrested and fined heavily they might think twoce abot doing it in the future. We shouldn't really do anything about the illegals until the most well known house in the country cleans off its doorstep - the White House. Batack Obama has an Aunt from kenya who has been in our country illegally since 2004 - not only that she hasbeen drawing welfare so living free of our taxpayers. To top it off she was sitting on the steps of the Capitol building among all the dignitaries for his inauguration. He needs to get her out of the country but it appears that his theory is - "Don't do as I do - do as I say."

you go after the businesses. with no businesses to get jobs, no illegals would stay with no money to make. there was a raid in southern mississippi that was like 600 illegals. that is 600 jobs taken away from the economy and that is another 600 people that we are paying unemployment on.

This is always a sticky subject. I agree with you, I think the only way to really stop this is to go after both. Fine the companies, deport the illegals or put them on the right path to become a citizen the legal way. I know alot of people don't support finding a way to make them citizens. I just feel bad when you have the case of the parents being illegal and the children being born in the USA. Do you only deport the parents or the whole family? Its such a sticky situation.
