Do you like to do handmade stuff?

I like to create lots of handmade stuff to do. I made a bed using the old curtain for my puppy so he can have his own couch and won't climmb our couch; I always do handmade cards and little gifts for my honey on some special days :); I'm going to make a bench that I can put it on the porch or back deck in the summer; I like to mak esome decorations for the house :-)
I think first it is my hobby to do that and the other thing is it can save $$ like I only spend 3 bucks on the cotton and recycle the old curtain to make a big , comfortable bed for my piuppy instead of getting a brand new puppy bed in the stores which probably costs me more than 10 bucks. And it kills time too :-)
Do you like using your hand to make delicate stuff or just create sometihng? :-) Happy mylotting!

it depends on my mood. sometimes i do things and exert the effort and take time to finish it just because i want to save $$$. and there are also time i do it because I'm enjoying it, until i get tired of it. other times i do it just because i want to be appreciated for my creativity and just please the person i'm giving my handmade stuff to. You know, like birthday cards or personalized presents.

I think this year may be the year that I get my own power tools, and I do not think they will be painted pink. I would like to learn to make some things that I have been thinking about for years.
In the past I have made clothing, curtains, sweaters, pictures, quilts, baby blankets, cross stitch samplers, clocks, to name a few.
It's fun and very relaxing.

I wish I could! But no matter how hard I try, I'm just too clumsy and unartistic to make anything nice! I get a lot of ideas, but transferring that from my brain to my hands loses something in the translation lol. I wish I was as talented as you seem to be!
