SOMETHING happened to the furnace and now its's freezing cold. good thing I had the mind last year to buy a small room heater..so I am muffled up in slacks and woolen sweater..and will pop into bed under the covers.. Drinking hot coffee sure helps too..and watching the Young & the Restless..I get to see it twice..so if I miss it a 4:30 I can watch it the next day at 12:30 pm. I don't get bored to watch it over again Kane asked Lily to marry him and she said yes..Billy asked Chloe to marry him ..she threw him out of the house..of course he wanted to marry her but carry on his single lifestyle..jerk! Cain & Abel that what Kane & Billy are

Need a Bear Hug To Keep Warm - My furnance is on the blink..and had to wait until morning for the repairman to show up..so my cats all came to sleep with me..3 out of the 6 cats..and kept me warm all nite.
now am eating hot cereal and sitting in front of my heater while the repairman is working on the furnace. I can't even shower this morning..freezing and I really don't want to catch[em] a cold.

hello dancingredfeather i see that you posted this discussion a few hours ago and i hope that you have solved the problem that you were having earlier with your furnace. and yes, that is a good thing that you have a small space heater like that as well, those are better than not having any heat at all. a couple of weeks ago, our central heat and air conditioning unit went out on us and one of my hubby's brother's came over one day to help him out fixing it. but the night before it was cool outside so we had to plug in our space heater like that during the night to keep the chill knocked out of the house. and i know what you mean about saying getting into bed up under the covers like that. that night that we didn't have any heat except for the space heater, i as well was in bed early for the night up under about three blankets and a throw blanket over top of me. lol i thought that i was going to freeze! lol take care and have a beautiful evening.

Last nite a repairman came but because the person living downstairs where the furnace is wasn't they couldn't enter to fix the problem. The landlady called me and asked if I was okay until morning, I told her yes I was as I had a small room heater and dressed like a polar bear. She said they would come at 7:30 this morning. so guess what..3 of my cats came and slept with me..one in my back, one in front of my chest and one on my hip and kept me warm all nite!
