I have a 6 months old puppy and my husband was saying he wants a second puupy to breed them or to find compnay for him. But I wonder if they will get jealous when they see you get another dog? Will they fight with each other?
Have you ever experienced that? I would like to hear you guys's comment. Thank you very much! :-)

yup dogs can get jealous just like people can
its just like if you have a child and then bring home a new baby the older child feels dethroned and neglected
you need to make sure that you involve the first pup in the activity with the new pup
also set aside some one on one time with the first pup so it doesnt feel totally neglected
dont seperate the pups as they will need to establish a pack order
be sure to establish yourself and hubby as pack leaders and they will both happily follow you example

I don't know if he is jealous or no - sometimes when I pick up a toy dog and pretend it was a real dog and say the same command to the toy dog like good boy, go lie down and see what he react, he will get angry and jump. Does that mean he thinks he is jealous and think that is a real dog?
Thanks for sharing! :-)

is he really angry when he jumps?
is his tail up or down?
what position is his ears in?
he is more than most likely just excited because he is eager to please you
