Ok I've watched say 30 min of it as my 6yo thinks she own's the tv but that's a whole other kettle of fish.
They are talking about buying outfits @ a "thrift" store between $12-$45! I can find an outfit for myself for under $5 easily, provided they had my sizes. It cracks me up on the prices from what they've entitled a "thrift shop". I bought an adorable NIKE longsleeve hooded tennis dress for my 6yo to grow into for $2!!! IT was easly $50 retail or more. But it was $2 for NIKE, NIKE pants for my toddler son .45!
Then they just moved onto the coupon portion.....
It looks great that this lady does awsome with her couponing gig. But ya know in my reality..... I don't EVER find $1 off $1.28 orig price for canned tomatoes hence paying .28 for it. We got $1 off things like $7 hair dye, not something pidily.
And no store here doubles beyond 5 coupons, + you have to spend $25, & it's only on WED... no savings to me usually. As all I'd want to buy would be the items for the coupons wich then would not meet the $25 min purch.

I so know what you are talking abut! $30 for an outfit is NOT A GREAT DEAL!! That is not a bargain, people! I haunt discount racks and check out Goodwill and St Vincent's sometimes. Last year I needed a formal gown for a black tie banquet and I found a beautiful one that fit me (I was 5 m pregnant and sure didn't want to be stuck with a pricey maternity ball gown!! AAck!) for a grand total of $3.15 including tax!!!!! I needed to sew back on 4 sequins that were loose, but that was it...... pretty slick, eh? Oh yeah, I can clothe a family of 9 for under $100 for the year and I've done it for LESS, too!

I saw that too! They are not frugal trained LOL! Imagine this is trying to frugalize (is that a word) ones who have NEVER considered living that way. They don't know what they are missing! ha!
