Have you been at an event taking photos and had a TV Crew move right in front of you. I have had it happen several times. This last time I was covering a Basketball Game and as usual I stood back from the sidelines so as not to interfere with the game or to get hit myself. This time the TV Guy was asked by the official to move from under the basket where he was too close to the sideline. I don't mean to generalize but I was at a press conference and several of the print people and photographers arrived early and got seats in front or near the front. Just before the press conference started the TV crews came in and set up right in front of everyone and started taping the press conference. I try to be considerate of others when I am shooting, even if I am shooting a wedding I will ask the people not to take pictures until I am done with a pose and then I will get out of their way.

Yes, they are so rude. Are they thinking they are transparent?? I've the similar experiences, they always think they are entitled to do this, and never think about other people. I hope if those guy see this discussion, please be considerate.

I think this discussion applies to all people and they should be awar of who is around them also trying to view the event.

I've never had that happen to me before! But then I don't often shoot at places where tv crews show up! The worst thing I've had is people in the background of my photo while shooting bridal portraits at a public park. Most people are considerate and when they see a photographer or two, some assistants holding reflectors and extra lenses, the bride in her big white dress, and her bridesmaids/family members carrying her stuff stopping and setting up to take pictures they'll move or ask, "Do you need us to get out of the way?" But occasionally you'll get someone that will just sit on a bench behind the bride and eat their lunch! And you don't want to say anything, because it is a public park and they have just as much of a right to be there as you do! But seriously, there are dozens of benches at this park! Do you have to sit at the one that is directly behind the beautiful fountain/garden/structure/etc. that the bride is posing in front of?
