What do you think of the Bail Outs in the United States?

What are your thoughts of all these bail outs going on? Do you think they will help the Economy get any better? Or do you think we are just getting into even more debt?
What do you think will help the Economy get better? How long do you think it will take until the Economy is great again? Years? Months? Weeks? Days?
Why is the Economy bad now? What made it bad? What are your thoughts on the whole Economy thing?

If we are a Capitalistic society, these businesses should be allowed to fail. If their business models or management was unable to do the jobs that they accepted, then these companies should fail.
I do not understand how giving money to people *who have already shown us they do not know how to manage it* will solve the problems we face today.
