Do you read entire subject of discussion before responding or just go by subject

I recently noticed that it is very easy to fall into the habit of responding to discussions without completely reading the subject, in order to make quick money. I would like to know how many of us are into that habit? Please be honest about yourselves. May be you can post a rough idea of the percentage of discussions that you reply to after reading the subject and the percentage that you respond to without doing that. Thanks

By reading at the title, like yours now, I can roughly know what is the contents of your post. But normally I will run through the discussion before I response. If I don't read through the discussions I might miss out something which the poster is asking.

You are so very right, Zandi. That was the whole point before starting this discussion. When you read the title, you do have a rough idea of what the discussion is going to be like. Some of the exceptions are the topics which are really personal and they do require a very deep attention on each and every word.

I always read the entire discussion before I respond. If the description is way too long or is also boring I tend to skim read but I would get the entire gist of the conversation. I would want to give meaningful responses and also provide necessary input or solutions to the questions asked. It wouldn't be of much fun if discussions were made nonsensical and irrelevant.

I follow your way for the long, descriptive discussions. Most of the times the discussions are not longer than 7-8 sentences so I don't mind reading the entire discussion before responding. At times I do skim through the discussion even if the description is short enough because the subject itself mentions clearly what the discussion is going to be about.

I always read the entire subject title and synopsis. For me, it is important to give accurate answers and I don't believe I can do a thorough job of this unless I read both the subject and the description completely. If I read only the subject/title, I would be more liable to miss something.

I read before I respond. I have to admit that when I started here in mylot, it was for the money. I was active for the first weeks. But something happen personally and I just lost interest in responding, so I stopped logging-in. Now, whenever I fell like talking to someone, like sharing my views, I check my account here. So before I can share, I need to read first. But not all the responses, I just read the original post and few responses. I rarely open this account, I even had difficulty in logging-in a while ago because I forgot my password. How sad is that. LOL. Obviously, I remember it after a few try. LOL.

I always read everything before I respond to anything . I would be worried I would write something wrong if I didnt read it all first . Some people asking for help might get the wrong kind of advice if the person didnt read everything on the discussion first. I would feel really bad if I gave the wrong advice just because I didnt read the whole discussion.

I always read the whole discussion before responding. If it's a serious discussion I try not to read the responses because I don't want to be influenced by what others say. You are paid also by how well you answer discussions and how your answers are rated. The better you rank..the more money you make. One liners don't even earn money. I try to be as honest and detailed as possible when I read and answer.

I read entire discussion before response. Some times i make mistake to get whole discussion and submit somewhat outof track response. I feel very sorry for that. I read entire discussion as well as expect comment from the person who started discussion.Person who is not giving "comment" on response, i think they are here for money only. Happy Mylotting!

Thank you for taking time out, Ranvir. I understand that one would feel guilty if one posts an out of topic response.

I generally read the discussion, but many times more than one questions is asked and I usually will just answer one. Or i may just add to the discussion instead of answering any questions.

I usually read the whole discussion before I reply to it. Sometimes if I am rush to do some stuff and the content is way long, I will just skip it and read it later.

I always Read the discussion before I respond because other wise I wouldn't know what exactly it's talking about, because more times than not the heading is not the real question. Happy mylotting
