I think brisk walking will not take out some weight. But jogging will certainly do it. Both of them however are good for health. But among the the, I think, jogging would be the option if we intend to lose weight considering that it burns more calories.

It helps. At least it helps me to maintain my weight by making 10,000 steps a day. I track my step thru a pedometer for past 3 years and it was effective. No weight gain for the past 3 years. I make a point to make 10,000 steps a days by spending some time walking around the house till the number was met before going to bed. If I jog regularly, I will definitely lose weight, but too lazy to do so.

Yes, it can help, however, you have to be sure to engage in the exercise for an extended period of time. You can't just walk or jog for five minutes and expect to see a significant difference. It has to become part of your routine and you also have to push yourself a little bit (but not too much!!) when it becomes tiresome. If you don't challenge yourself to walk/jog farther and/or faster and stay complacent, your body may adapt to it which will eventually stop the weight loss. The thing to go by is muscle exhaustion, not number of reps/length of time. Don't overdo it, though... Good luck!

I´m sorry I don´t know what brisk walking is, but I think I can imaging what it is. Of course it will help, to loose weight is the simple mathematics about what you put in your mouth and what you take out from your body, regarding to use your muscles. There is no magic way to loose weight, it´s just to bite the lemon and get on with it.... Happy mylotting
