So what do you think of the final choice and the final rose? He gave the rose to Melissa and then in the next show tells us that he and Melissa no longer have the "chemistry" and basically tells her that it is over. She gives the ring back. Then Chris Harrison brings Molly out and Jason tells her he made a mistake. Will you give me another chance.
Shock!! Of course she said yes, but what would you have done? I think I would have told him to hit the road! Seriously, I am beginning to think that Jason has no clue as to what he really wants or who he loves if any of the girls.
So what is your reaction to this twist of events?

He said they were not meant for each other. Something happened or didn't happen between them, maybe she wasn't as sweet off of the show. Maybe it was all just to good to be true. He was torn between Melissa and Molly, I am not surprised. From what the other women have said they can understand how it could have happened. I think Jason eventually realized that his reaction to letting Molly go was too strong. And that is just was not meant to be for him and Melissa.

Well like my friend said. Didn't you see how Melissa came out with an attitude, and a look on her face. She already was upset, she probably was expecting it, she surely was not surprised about it, she was prepared with what she had to say.

I thought he was stupid for picking Melissa in the first place and did not understand it. He seemed SO sad to let molly go yet he wasn't all that excited to choose Melissa! It was a lame proposal and not "fairy-tale" in the least. I don't think he used his brain or his heart in choosing Melissa - then after the show he realized they aren't at all right for each other.
I'm glad Molly and him are going to try, but I do think he's stupid now. I still think he's a nice guy, but he's an idiot for not knowing him and Melissa would never work. Just watching the show they didn't look very compatible so I didn't get it.

BTW The ONLY reason I watched this season was to see Deanna come back, they teased us with that in episode 1. Then that turned out to be NOTHING! She gave it a try and when he said no she was like "alright". I don't even think she cared if he came back to her or not, she just thought it was worth a shot.

I do think Jason lost a lot of credibility with his "switch hitting" lol! I agree with you on Deanna. She didn't really seem too concerned that he passed her over again! What a tease those commercials were--very over the top. I guess the network got what they wanted with hooking many into staying glued to the series. Now After the Rose Part 2 should be interesting! That comes on tonight! Now we see if he has switched AGAIN!

And they will get what they want again b/c I will watch Jillian b/c I like her. However I won't be dragged into any more drama!
What could they do now - "Jason realizes it was really Jillian he loved - he'll be back this season!" then he comes back for 2 minutes on the last day. Haha.

I think he did the right thing if there wasn't the chemestry between Jason and Melissa like their was on the show. They had to go out for 6 weeks and it was like it would be in reality~ no cameras to play up to, no huge extravegant dates ect. I felt very bad for Melissa though:(
Molly said that she never stopped feeling for Jason, so she was smart to say yes and they can take it slow. It will be interesting to see if this actually has a happy ending.

I agree that it will be hard on Ty. I think he seemed very comfortable with Melissa and spending the holidays with her in the role of the new mommy to be has to be very hard.
Maybe Melissa will be the next Bachelorette.

My only shock is that Melissa even made it to the end. I thought she would've been gone way in the beginning. I'm not that fond of Molly either but I thought she and Jason had a better connection. I'm not shocked about what happened because I had an idea it was coming after all the rumors started.
I'm with Jason on this one. He said they had talked lately and knew something wasn't right, yet Melissa acted like this was coming out of nowhere. She knew things weren't going well. You could see it on her face when she walked out to join him on stage. If she hadn't known, she would have jumped on him and thrown her legs around him like she always does. And even though they are rumors, the website I found for spoilers said one of the leaks came from a friend of Melissa's who saw emails between her and Jason.
I guess now we just have to see if Jason and Molly will make it.

Also Chris Harrison said they had all agreed to do everything in public so she knew something was about to happen and not in her best interest. You could see it all in her face, she wasn't her normal bubbly self when she walked onto the stage. You are right there.

I didn't watch it myself. My husband thought Melissa was the right girl and was pretty disappointed when he asked for a second chance with Molly. But I guess only Jason can really know what he was thinking and feeling.

My reaction is, "It is a TV show, much of it is scripted!". That earlier rejected girl did not just 'Show up'. Molly, Jason, and the show's producers obviously planned all this for ratings. Almost none of this is real. How many successful marriages have resulted from any of the shows?
Lot's of drama, practically no substance.
