While I was happy when Jason picked Melissa last night and proposed to her. I'm not mad that he discovered his feelings had changed only 6 weeks later. The show has a track record of relationships not working out. What I can't believe, is that he'd wait until they were on the show, After the Final Rose to tell Melissa the devastating news. Didn't he think enough about her to tell her in private so should could deal with the heartache without cameras in her face? Well, I'm disgusted with him and ABC for even allowing that to air. He(Jason) could have come on the show and said things didn't work out with Melissa and saved her the humiliation. This is a new low even for a "reality" show. Next season for more shock value and pain, maybe they can let the woman not chosen in the finale kick the bachelor between the legs and tape his reaction.

I didn't take it like that. Jason said that he had spoke to Melissa about how they didn't seem to go together after spending the holidays together. I think that Melissa knew, but was hoping that Jason would say he wanted to fight and make it work. When Jason was talking to Chris before Melissa came out he said that he had told Melissa he was still thinking about Molly.

I don't have a problem with Jason thinking about Molly or breaking up with Melissa. I just thought it was classless to do it on television. Melissa said she didn't know he was going to try and start dating Molly that night, she was caught ff card by that.
