Did you know that today is a square root day?

I am interested in numbers and especially when they form pretty patterns. Did you know that today is a square root day? If written out as 03 x 03 = 09. The next one will not occur until 04 04 16. So that is quite a long time to wait. It is explained here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_root_day which I found via Vinefire. It has some interesting sites on there. Just thought that you might like to know.

Wikepedia is a very useful and interesting site. I do take time to go there once in a while and do some reading up. The square root day is very interesting, and to tell you the truth had not paid attention to it. Thanks for binging it up.

That's an interesting one. I love looking at patterns too in dates. I also like the triple number sequences. We have a very good one last year, 08-08-08 (August 8, 2008). What's important with that date? 08-08-08, like other triple number dates, will be used again after 1,000 years(August 08, 3008). It became more memorable because that's the grand opening day of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
