There is a global credit crisis but frankly i have not seen much sign of it in Mylot discussions. I work in a factory that laid off 1 today, 3 last friday and 5 the friday before. But i come on mylot with no concerns and act like evetyhing is the same as this time last year. Do you think Mylot is a buffer or some form of escape from the stress of the 'real' world?

I do. I think it's a way to escape from it all. You see people that need help here and there so it puts us in more of the driver seat and it's refreshing to give a few words here and there that actually help another human being. And then there are other crazy discussions that just leave you rolling around on the floor. I think Mylot has as many sides to it as it does personalities of people. It takes a mix to keep it interesting and light.

Hiya xboxboy,I feel that it is,when I am having a bad day or just need a happy distraction, being here with friends and being involved lifts my spirits from what was troubling me.And it is a good place to vent or ask advice..there is a lotta love here so when I need peace from a troubled heart or mind..it's good to be among friends who understand.
