my sweet husband

My husband's work has been very slow since December and so he has been spending more time at home watching me study and looking for work. Yesterday I worked all morning and most of the afternoon and then had class from 4pm till 10pm. I was able to come home inbetween and cooked an early dinner for us and visit for an hour before I had to leave for school. When I left for class my house was a mess, we just haven't been keeping up with things lately and I mentioned to him that I was going to get up early and clean before I had to go to class the next day. When I got home my husband had cleaned the house til it shined!! I thought that it was one of the sweetest things because he knows that I don't really have the time this point in the semester to keep the house as clean as I like it and study. I was just wanting to share that and to see if there was anyone here in mylot that gets the nice surprise of a clean house from their husband or any other famliy members. Have a great day!!

It sounds like you do have a very sweet and caring husband. It must have meant a lot to you that he thought ahead and helped clean the house. Our jobs as wives are very hard especially when it comes to keeping it clean. It isn't always easy to keep things tidy and organized especially when you have a family and constant traffic in the house during the day and night. I do have a husband that works during the day and I usually am the one holding down the fort during the day and being a stay at home mother. Sometimes it feels like I am doing the most of the house work. I do understand that a man is tired from working all the live long day but women also can be tired after working as mothers in the home and the like. My husband does help me out once in a while when he knows that I am a little over come or overwhelmed with extra housework. You know, the house work does pile up and sometimes we do fall behind. That is probably just normal for any one of us. I think it can be even harder for a wife that works outside of the home or in your circumstance you attend classes. There is not enough time in the day to get it all done and it doesn't hurt for your husband to chip in with the helping once in a while. I wish you luck and I hope that your husband continues to help you as he should. I belie that is what a good partnership is all about. Not everybody has that in their relationships.

Thanks for best response. I am glad to see that you appreciated my response. I do wish you further happiness in your relationship with your husband. The main thing is that you are good to one another and everything should work out great. Take care.

Hi okki, wow..that is so sweet! I can relate also since my husband is very sweet...He always find ways to make me happy and surprise me. Oftentimes, after work, he will prepare our dinner since he knows that I love the way he cooks food that I do! lOL!

My sister's husband cooks for her, and she loves it. Mine tried it once and we decided that it was ok if he never did it again. you just can't be good at everything and cooking is at the top of his list of things he is not good at. Thank you and have a great day

Seems like we are both lucky that way. I had a baby in December. My hubby has been terrific lending a hand. I work from home. Sometimes that gets taken a little for granted. It is a nice surprise not to have to do it all, all the time!

That sounds very sweet indeed! I can definately relate as I'm currently working on my master thesis, plus trying to get my teaching certification settled in this state, and raising two children. My husband works and is school also, so we both have very busy schedules. The last cool thing he did in regard to cleaning was to clean up my son's room the way I like it lol. I didn't ask, he just went in and did it which took care of one more thing I didn't have to worry about. Keep hanging in there. The degree is very worth it! Namaste-Anora
