ebay

hi there, i would like to know if anyone uses ebay to buy / sell on a regular basis? How do you think the best way to market your products are? Do yo price the item low then watch the bids roll in or aim high and wait until someone bids last minute? Reason I ask is that the new way of bidding seems to be that lots of people watch an item then put in last minute bids. I cant work out of this lowers the final sale price though. Any ideas?

I haven't used Ebay in over a year since they changed all of their policies. Lots of people are angry because they changed their rating system and it is one sided for the buyer now. This is not right because if someone "buys" and then never pays, you have to then relist an item, pay again, etc. and you can't give the buyer a bad rating, even though they screwed you over. Big hassles for sellers. I also found that the cost of mailing things was way too expensive and that many people just weren't willing to bid when they saw how much you were charging for shipping, but hey, I'm not paying to sell people stuff. As far as buying goes, I use a tool that goes in and bids at the last possible moment by a tad more and I usually win the auction (if I really want that thing).
