Economy in the Usa

Does anyone think that the Usa's Economy is suffering right now?
Is it affecting you in any way?

YES
It has not hit me hard but softly so far. But I have several friends who have lost their jobs as we have had several local companies shut down. My job has not been changed at all yet. However my hubby has had his hours reduced from 60 to 40 per week. So we have only had to make minor changes in our spending.
I wish the worst was over but I think it is yet to come.
