What About Bad Shot?

I have been deer hunting for years and on occasion even i make a bad shot. hard to believe i know but it happens. i was wondering when you make a bad shot how long do you look for your deer before returning to the hunt?

Hi,
I would spend all day tracking it down if it is mortally wounded. On the contrary, I need not bother if it is only a slight wound that can heal overtime. It is bad luck to let go of a wounded game that may die eventually on the bush. One thing, I have to sure of shot placement before pulling the trigger.
