Have you ever had a first date disaster?

I wrote an article a while back titled "Things To Look In A First Date". In the piece I talked about the warning signs to look for when you are dating someone for the first time that may indicate that this is not the love of your life after all. I listed some subtle signs but I can think of a first date or two where the warning signs were obvious, loud and clear!
Have you ever had a first date disaster?
What is your ideal first date? Please share...

Hmm, I can't really recall first date disasters. Maybe I've had them and they are so painful I've put them from my mind lol. On the serious side, I think that you can generally tell if things are just not connecting. Most of the time my experience is on the second or third date. I think that the first date can leave you with a rush so to speak that you overlook those signs. Yet, on the second and third date you begin to realize you've got nothing in common. I recall standing up from a home cooked meal on a third date and telling the man to leave my home. Yes, in the middle of dinner, because he was so obnoxious and irritating. To no surprise, he thought things were going just fine and had no idea why I'd asked him to leave.

So typical no idea at all! How many times do guys go along and are completely oblivious to the fact that things aren't right?

Just so the men don't think I'm picking on them too much, I'm sure there are women like this but yeah-why do most men seem completely unaware that you've got nothing in common??? Anora

I definitely had, you have all the expectations, and all they want is one thing, and you are not willing, and that is when it is over.
