I've been blogging for about 4months now and bloghopping has been one of my activities to learn more about this new adventure. But after a few weeks of doing such, I have noticed that some of the blogs i regularly visit are either left stagnant, some deleted, while others have just been left like a stale fish, no updates no nothing. I'm just wondering, what makes bloggers quit?

There are lots of factors really as to why bloggers quit. The design? Yup, sometimes bloggers hate their own template enough to trash the entire blog then come up with new fresher template then gets tired again and the cycle begins. Lack of resources? Yup, especially if the blog is specifically made to tackle a certain subject. Outside world? Most bloggers are quite intelligent. This gives me an idea that they in a high paying but demanding job which kind of forces them to neglect their blog. I've been blogging for 2 years i think and i must admit my blogs sucks. I just told myself "just keep the blog going no matter what".

I dont really blog that much anymore. I thought I was going to make alot of money blogging but it didnt really turn out that way. I think that I can do better with blogging, but as for right now it isn't something that I am doing. It is a reason that I can live iwith why I'm not blogging.

I've been blogging for one year now and I maintain 4 blogs. I know that a blog is a long term project. It takes time and effort to build a following. If you are blogging for money you need to work at your blog for months before it will have enough content and traffic to make it profitable. I think people start a blog because they think they can get referrals or make money from it straight away with very little work. I see so many blogs with one or two posts only. You need to post on a blog two or three times a week, every week. The top earning bloggers post on theirs two or three times every day. I have an article that explains the best reasons to continue writing on your blog http://www.helium.com/items/1361315-make-money-with-a-successful-blog-by-writing-and-posting-new-content

Good for you. I couldn't emphasize more on what you said that blogging is a long term project. Our mentality nowadays is too reserved in getting things the easy way, we want everything to be instant, and unfortunately, for bloggers this kind of attitude won't be of any help. Patience truly is a virtue. Thanks also for sharing your articles, i'll visit that.
