There are billions of people in the world, and the population is continually growing. We'll meet thousands of people in our lifetime, most of them will go and a few will stay. With this number of people, when can you say that a person is significant in your life?

For me a person is significant when they help others and think of others and is a overall good person. That is there when they are needed and always has a shoulder to lean on but never a "I told you so" So that is my idea signifcant person

I think people can be significant in my life in many ways - some big and some small. I guess I would say that someone is significant in my life if they alter it in some way - whether it's altering the way I feel, or something I do, or the way I react to something. Of course, this would include many people. There are far fewer who have long-lasting significance in my life. These are the people who I will never forget and who are permanently in my life.
