Breast Feeding: It is just a source of food or a bond between Mother and Child

Brest milk is known to contains all the necessary nutrients a child needs for growing up. Studies have shown that breast-fed babies are highly developed and more intelligent than their counterparts who are fed with processed milk. It is therefore advisable to breast-feed babies until they are at least one year old. Breast feeding also can be seen as a mutual bond between mother and child. when ever u feed your child just think about the feeling of love that transpire in the air. It is therefore in my opinion that breast feeding shouldn't be seen as just a source of food for babies but as a bond between mother and child.

Br*st milk is the best milk for the baby, and would be ideal, but the bonding comes from the mother holding the infant close to her. A baby that is bottle fed - as is the case with adopted babies - can be held close and get the same bonding. My adopted sons were given br*st milk when they were born because they were premature, and they were let out of the hospital to the foster mother's house (we did not get them until they were three months old.)and I doubt she was able to br*st feed them. At that time, br*st feeding for adoptive mothers required a lot of preparation before one got the child and in our case, we could not wait because we were past the age of new borns, just past and we could not wait for another infant being available because we were only allowed hard to place babies and most hard to place were older children. Perhaps that br*st milk given to my sons when they were newborns for those few days was enough to make them intelligent. Anyway when I bottle fed them, I always held them close to me so there would be the bonding.
