My favorite is Panda Antivirus Profesional 2009. Cheaper with good performance. Many years, I trust the Panda Security Software. It's so mild and run faster on my computer ever than better. So, try it for free and you'll satisfy with this product. I used this for more than 5 years. Please, try it before you die. :)

I have found that no single anti-virus software will catch everything, so it is best to have multiple programs to help catch ones that others miss. I use Norton Anti-Virus and Webroot SpySweeper. I find that these to programs together help keep my computer in top running condition, and there are things that one will catch that the other doesn't.

The first one I had was Norton Antivirus because it came with the computer - it was awful, it seemed to be responsible for so many problems with crashing and slowing the computer down. I use AVG Free now, and haven't had any problems with it.
