hi to you iamsolucky , the problem with high blood pressure is mainly our diet ,and what we do to exercize , and fresh air , i can only suggest that your mom eliminates almost all animal fats and all refined foods , all refined sugars , these elements increase blood thickness and therefore cause a major upload on the heart and eventualy lead to high blood pressure , another important fact is water ask her to drink at least 1,5 liters of water a day , i personaly like 2 glasses of warm water with a slice of lemon in the morning , and water during the day but less before going to sleep, this would be the most natural way to control our blood pressure , greetings bignik

Diet does make a difference, but if she is overweight, losing the excess may take her blood pressure right down. Drinking green tea and concord grape juice as well as eating concord grapes will help. Celery will also drop her blood pressure, as will garlic. There are herbal teas that help, too. Controlling blood pressure is best done from several angles at one time. It's generally accepted that once you use blood pressure medication, you'll have to have another medication within a few years. I've been on one pill for 10 years now and my blood pressure is lower than it was when I started.

A good way to control blood pressure is to start with the diet avoid things that elevate blood pressure like caffeine and salt stress is a major contributor of high blood pressure so its wise to avoid stress or use relaxation techniques to lower the blood pressure if it rises sleeping or lying on your left side will improve blood flow and temporarily reduce blood pressure also
