It sounds like something you would see in a horror movie. A 6 year old, devoid of any social interation and stimulation all her life, is discovered living in filthy,roach-infested home. she speaks in grunts and her body is covered in roach bites, her hair filled with lice. she's lived her whole life in a room the size of a closet, pilled high with the used diaper's she's worn. she weighs 46 pounds. Why are parents giving birth? They are just hurting the kids day by day. if they cant take care of the children, should have thought before giving birth. i hate those kinds of parents, who abuses of their children.what about you?

I do believe that children really are gifts, as well as being little miracles. I'm an aunt of two beautiful nieces. I could not imagine not giving them love, or not taking care of them. They are just too great to not. I know that I'm not alone. Children turn to their parents, or close relatives, for love, safety, and look for attention and being taken care of. I can't believe that some parents would do this to their children. I can't understand why parents would treat their child like dirt, or garbage. It just breaks my heart. I can't stand people who do this sort of thing.

It is my belief that children are a gift. It is our job as parents to enjoy the gifts while we have them in our care. We have to nurture them, love them, teach them right from wrong and give them the tools they need to survive in the real world. Then, when they are ready to leave the nest, we have to let them be free to spread their wings and explore the world. I don't understand why people do these horrific things to children. The only thing that can explain it is that these people were treated that was when they were children and they think it is the right thing to do. You are right though, just because people are able to create children does not make them parents.
