Don't you hate it when that happens?

I was just taking some pictures of my son. I actually got the cutest little smile from him. Not yet 3 months old, parents know how rare that can be. I pushed the button to take the picture and he moved. So, I have his beautiful little face, a wonderful smile, but the top of his head is cut off. Ever had the perfect picture not turn out so perfect?

When my son smiles it truly warms my heart. I guess that's the little bit of magic God put in babies make up for those 3am feeding times.

Happened to me all the time when my daughter was younger. She used to not sit still at all for pictures. That was before she became a little camera hound. Now she poses for the pictures when she see's a camera come out.

That seems to happen way too often in my family. It's mainly my mom and my sister, that is when they are the ones operating the camera. It doesn't necessarily matter who they are taking a picture of. LOL I don't think it is because they are shaky because they have done it with my camera and it won't snap the picture if you are being too shaky. I think they just don't look and see what they are doing. Maybe they just aren't into it. I'm not sure. But I really hate it when I get this great picture, or what would have been, with no head on it. LOL Interesting discussion, I hope you have a chance to get some better snaps of the baby!

Oh yes, that's definitely happened. I've either had the subject of a photo move at just the wrong moment, or had someone jostle the camera just as I'm trying to take the picture... it's unbelievably irksome, especially if it's the sort of photo you can't get every day. Ah, well... at least you got his smile, if nothing else! Keep that photo; maybe you can tell your son about it later on, haha.

Yes! I do that all the time. I hate when that happens. I have a Grandson who is 8 months old. Everytime I try to take a pic of him when he's smiling or doing something cute, he moves and I don't get what I wanted.
