I used to work in a trade department, the head of the department was a christian and he was very nice, very gentle. He never gave us hard time about stuff. I never saw he yelled or anything, he was just a pleasant person like to smile a lot. Sometimes he even invite the staff to a buffet dinner with his family. He was the best employer that I have ever seen, no attitude, no anger. I think part of the reasons is because he is Christian, he told us his strong believe in God the first day he replaced the old head of department. Have you ever encountered such a good boss? Or do you treat your staff nice?

It's wonderful to hear that you had such a nice boss; I've had one or two that were absolutely great. One example would be at my old library; my boss would randomly bring in treats every Sunday for all of us to enjoy. My current boss isn't that giving, but then again, he's a very busy doctor. Well, that and there's the fact that I've only just started working for him, so it's not entirely fair for me to judge just yet.

I have had some pretty good bosses in the past. Some of them seemed to be good bosses and make sure the job gets done. They also seem to be able to use constructive criticism so that they don't come across the wrong way when there is a problem. I myself, don't think I was a very good boss. I say that mainly because I really wasn't great at delegating work. Fortunately, I had some really good employees and they made up for it. LOL Interesting discussion, it sounds like your boss is a great guy. Have a wonderful day!
