Do You Wonder if you are Alone?

Do you ever wonder if you are "The only person who cares?" About Anything? What are the things you wish would change, but fear never will because you are convinced no one realizes the importance of fixing the issue? What are your pet peeves? What do you want fixed that, maybe, if enough people were to join in this discussion and take an active role, that we could all work on improving together, today?

I think there are very few important issues where we would be the only ones that give a care. On any issue of importance we can find others who feel the same as we do. We just have to talk to people. True many or even most people might not care but I have found that I'm not alone. There are others. We just have to find them. As a believer in God, I find that we can only do so much in making this world a better place. The ones that don't care don't fight faily. They are bent on destruction and will use any means. The ones that care don't have the power to make things right. That's where God comes in. Eventually He will step in and set things right. So we who care, we who want to work for the betterment of the world, will be given the opportunity to do so. Eventually good will triumph and the "meek will inherit the earth."

I do appreciate your views and your hope for the future... But I am talking about today. I am not going to wait around while some force unbeknown to me makes things better. I believe the good need to band together and fight back. We can fight without violence, we can refuse to settle for the evils caused by other...or we can continue condoning or tolerating that which is unjust... which in the end... will make us just as bad....

You are right, there's the future and there is the present. I think there are some that care and some that are forced to care by the circumstances that they face. I am one that cares and tries to do something in my daily life that will contribute something positive to each day. I have friends that feel the same and we do work together to achieve positive goals. So we may be divideed by distance but let's do something good today, like recycling, sharing what we have with the less fortunate, by not wasting anything, ect. As is often said, let us not be a part of the problem but part of the solution. But let us not forget to draw strength from the One that has unlimited dynamic energy. 2 Corinthians 4:7 (Contemporary English Version) 7We are like clay jars in which this treasure is stored. The real power comes from God and not from us.

Finding the others is a difficulty. In high school, it was easier--I just talked to everyone. But after moving, it seemed the real world was a lot colder--cared a lot less. Small towns are wonderful communities. However, we might be more powerful than we realize. Jewel has a song, "We Are God's hands". Thank you for your responses. :)
