my sister had a lab pretty yellow coat and she decided to breed her with a dark lab and they had 6 little puppies and then she realized how much work the little ones were they decided to keep one and they were going to sell the rest they ended up keeping probable the most rambuncious of the dogs named lily and boy do they love to fight with each other never see more loving dogs to people but they always get at each other especially when it feeding time do any of you own labs and have you breeded them and if so was it worth the effort? i dont think they got much for the 5 dogs that they sold

You can definately make out on breeding labs if you go through the AKC process and make sure the parents are certified. It takes time but once you start to create a bloodline through your dogs a grow their pedigree you can make anywhere from $800 for a Black male up to $1300 for a chocolate female. Black is usually the most common so it the cheapest next is yellow and the rarest is chocolate, but believe it or not you can get any color from breeding any combination. Interesting huh?

The amount of work that it is in taking care of a dog and the time and the expense is exactly why I currently do not have one. I know enough people with pets I can visit though if I want, lol.

Well since labs are very active and naughty during their childhood days, its better to keep a maximum of two labs at a time, taking care of them too is a tough ask,I know what it is to go through all this, because i have a lab too.But labs are very good breeds too, much friendly to other members of the family and gets well with children too.
