How many computers do you have in our house?

We have two desktops and two laptops. One of the laptops isn't hooked up right now because we were doing some rearranging, and haven't gotte it setup yet. It's a little on the older side, so we have to get it reformatted before we started using it again. Our other laptop was brand new last summer, and that is our main desktop right now. My husband and I have our own laptops, so we don't have to share those. lol

I would think with an e-machine, you couldn't do much except for check your email. However, I've never used an e-machine, so I don't know these things.

We use to have two laptops and one desktop. I even configured a router so that everyone can go online with any of the computers availabe at home. Now, we only have a desktop and a laptop since my father returned the other one at work to have it repaired.. It has been a long time since he sent it to be repaired, wonder if we'll get it back..
I also happen to have a PSP so I could also use that to browse the net. The router before wasn't configured to limit the number of computers that could go online. But, now, since I somehow realized the feature, I only enabled the three to connect online and a neighbor across the street wouldn't be able to connect anymore. Call it selfish but, we do have to pay for the internet connection.

Well, if you really need it to be have wi-fi, I guess you would really have to call them but, if you say that you keep on forgetting, it might indicate that it isn't a necessity as much as you would if you really have to and you would be forced to call them.
Well, that would be something cool, a modem that would also do wi-fi.. (^_^ )

We have a router, but we weren't able to get it to cooperate right now. Although, we seem to think our modem has the capabilities for wi-fi. We just haven't figured out how to do it. I keep forgetting to call Verizon to get it figured out eventually.

I have only one computer at home. I am happy with it because till date I don't have any need to get one more pc at home. Ys, I am planning to upgrade it and it would take something around $200 to make it upgragaded. I have only $66 in my paypal. So, I better need to work hard to get it upgraded.

So I can imagine that your desktop is the public computer, and your laptop is your own private machine. It's always nice when there's something that's yours and yours alone.

I have 3 desktops and 4 laptops in my house. One of the desktop is set as server, one is temp. down now (motherboard failed), and one is using by my wife.
I'm using a laptops for my business and daily use. The other three laptops are old model, but still work fine, I'm trying to configure them for better performance, then give to children in needed.

My mom has a desktop that she's putting together for my four-year-old to dink around with. There are some games that she likes to play. Although, there's one game she likes to play that's only on our new computer. I guess we're either going to have to let her play our computer once in a while, or somehow install Vista on her computer.

Right now there are three, two desktops and one laptop. When all of my boys are home we have six. Three a laptops and three desktops. We have a wireless connection so we can use all of our computers for the internet. I dont mind wireless unless i play second life. then I have to wired or my game lags too much.

i've one desktop and one laptop in my hostel room and have got one laptop at home. i rarely use the second laptop because i usually spend 2-3 days at home in 2-3 months and even during that time i take my laptop with it and i don't need that one in my hostel room because 2 machines are more than enough in a single room :-)
the other thing is that i never have got my pc repaired as i'm a computer engineer myself. :-)

We've got two laptops at home.. The HP laptop is being used by my hubby and other one (Toshiba Portege) is being used by ME! =)i love my notebook.. though it isn't one of the modern laptop models, i still don't have plans of replacing it with a new one. because it has sentimental value! it was a birthday gift from my hubby three years ago.. =) i have never encountered any problems with it so far..

We have two desktops and two laptops.One desktop is belong to me which I bought in my college.The other desktop is belong to my husband.Both of the desktops are don't used now.And two laptops is using now by us.Good luck and happy mylotting.

We have 3 computers in our house , 1 desktop computer and two laptops which run of a router through my computer . I have a anti-virus program installed on my computer , the main one . Do the laptops need Anti-viruse programs also installing

We have one desktop and a laptop. My parents and brother generally use the desktop and I use my laptop all the time. I do not allow them to use my laptop. I get very angry when I put hands on my laptop. But my bro does not listen to me, he always sneaks into my room and tries open my laptop. That's why I have keep it password protected.. lol..
