"I will never get back those two hours"....LOL, seriously there are some great movies out there and there are some very bad movies out there... have you ever walked out on a movie?... have you ever thought this was so bad why did I stay to the end?? LOL For me and hubby it was the same movie... "War of the Roses" with Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas.... we stayed to the end and thought why did we!!! we are currently watching LOST right now, and the more we watch the move we dont understand...LOL, so I thought I would bring up this question... have a great night!!

Jaja I totally agree with you about LOST, Its so confusing, that I quit watching the serie by the 2nd season. There are two very similar movies that made me think that I wanted my wasted time back, those movies are "Epic movie" and "Date movie", its from the same guys as scary movie, but are very unfunny. That makes me think: Wow this director is so desperated for instant money, that he doesnt care of the prestige of his name.

I've come this far through these responses to nominate "Epic Movie" and find that someone beat me to it! I'll second that vote though,in that case! Bad acting doubles, weak gags, unfunny movie spoof references..Laugh? I never started! Let me think of others that come to Mind.. "A.I." would be one..The story could have been covered in a 30 minute TV show, but was padded out to 2 hours with (Admittedly good!) CGI Visuals (But CG Eye Candy doesn't make a good Movie..You need to tell a good STORY!) and I don't want to revisualise the toy marketing franchise that was the "Star Wars" prequels..

i LOVE lost too...and keep secretly hoping the end will be worth the crazy journey! i totally HATED mission to mars - thought it was the most ridiculous waste of time ever...if it was a comedy then MAYBE it'd be okay, but it was the seriousness that drove me crazy!

"Lost" must have something going for it,(Though I haven't figured out just what that is Yet..)as they've managed to get it this far..unfortunately,I didn't watch it from the start,so I reckon "Lost" is how I'd feel trying to get myself up to speed with it at this stage! Having looked through the responses here,I'm glad I don't go to the movies more than I do in some cases-I seem to have dodged some crappy bullets over the years looking at the contributions!

Never walked out on one but I did fall ASLEEP. I think 'It's Pat' was pretty bad, I didn't pay for that so it didn't matter. I also didn't enjoy 'Mr. Wrong' either but again I didn't pay for it, I just had to pretend I wasn't sleeping so my friend and sister didn't get mad... We watch Lost, caught up with it on dvd mostly. If you come in only on the current season anybody would be LOST. Double entendre? LOL!

I know what you mean the movie that comes to mind for me is this movie called WOO me and my mom went to see it together. In the commercials it seemed like it was going to be such an awesome movie, but it so was the opposite all the awesome clips in the commercial came and gone and that was it. Me and my mom so wanted a refund and that's when I came up with this theory if a movie just talks about the stars and barely talks about the story, focus on special effects , and the soundtrack is more hyped then the movie; then that means the movie will more then like to be horrid

The Killer Tomatoes is one of those low budget Horror B-Movies that's so awful and cheesy,it's now regarded as a cult classic!

Eye of the Beholder comes to mind as does the Blair Witch Project, and Eyes Wide Shut. Those were all can I have the time back please. There was The Mask with Jim Carey, didn't care for it--not a comedy fan. Think I turned that one off. And anything my ex-husband decided was a must see film would have to be bad. Idiocracy and Fight Club come to mind from his lists of must watch. Guess I have seen a few bad films. But I have seen like 1400 films so a handful of really bad ones is pretty good out of that number.

I almost walked out of a movie the other day. They couldn't get the friggin' audio right! It was ridiculously loud, or really, really soft you could barely hear it... But later after bugging them 5 times... literally.. and then they come in and say, "It's DOLBY DIGITAL, IT HAS NO VOLUME NOB." Lulz. Stoopid. It had a volume nob, and they were finally able to get it right. My gosh though, people don't get how to run tech.

Oh sure it happens. Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas and Danny Devito did a wonderful job together in Romancing the Stone, and its sequel. So I guess the powers that be thought they could re capture the magic with "Roses" & NOT! Another one to steer clear of in my opinion, the Star Wars parody Spaceballs. ICK!

I guess you are going to get a lot of different opinions on this topic. Some of the posts metion movies I actually enjoyed lol! Anyway, I recently saw Rachel Getting Married starring Anne Hathaway. Although she did a terrific acting job, the movie itself was boring, strange and very very dragged out. I couldn't wait for it to be over.

Actually, I liked War of the Roses. One movie I definitely felt like I wanted my two hours back afterwards was Napoleon Dynamite. I decided to watch it because of all the hype and because my sister told me I HAD to watch it because it was SO funny. (I shouldn't have listened because she also told me I needed to watch Elf because IT was so funny...) It wasn't funny...at least not by my standards. I kept waiting for the movie to get good and it just never did.

LOL, that is cool, and we all have different views on what is good and what is funny so yeah, when someone tells me you have to see it--its so funny... or its so good... yep, I take it with a grain of salt and judge for myself from now on...LOL thanks for the response.

Yeah and mine was "Mars Attacks" many, many years ago. Unfortunately, I was the one who dragged my friends to go see it because I was impressed with the cast (Michael J. Fox, Jack Nicholson, Annette Bening, etc.). To this day, they still remember how I "made" them watch it and give me heck about it. LOL

Aww geez..... I was all excited about replying until I saw you were speaking about LOST lol. How could you ever consider LOST a waste of time? *starts crying as if you've insulted a child of mine* lol. Hehe, sorry, I massive LOST fan. But yes, I've definitely been there before. What's even worse is when you realise that a movie is a piece of junk right from the get go, and yet for whatever reason you don't stop watching.... you just sit there... knowing full well that it's not gonna get any better lol.

For sure, Vanilla Sky. Did anyone get that movie, or like it? More recently I wasted my time watching The Happening, very stupid, I am glad I did not pay for this one.

oh i've definitely thought "I will never get those 2 hours back" ... when i was watching the movie "Adaptation" years ago! It's with Nicolas Cage, and there's 2 of him in that movie -- a little too much of him LOL i honestly can't even remember what the movie was about cause i had blocked it out of my mind LOL but either way, if you ever come across this movie, i DON'T recommend it, definitely won't get those 2 hours back HAHA
