friends i think muslim rule to say aadam, salam valekum (ex: hi we say in english) before talk to any body.I liked this rule of them.
Its makes a good relation between the two peoples and makes people together. I too now getting adicted to it when ever my friends call i just say hi,hellow iam rahul etc
its good

That sounds interesting. I don't think we have an equivalent of that in my (The American) culture, although it would be nice if we did. We instead say things such as "How do you do" and "Pleased to meet you", and I think that generates the same kind of effect; it's the respectable and customary thing to say.

hai friend,
in our culture we taught that whoever meet u either elder or younger u must wish ,there may be different way.being a teacher's son i got this habit from my father ,it creates a good image of ur in everyone.so keep wishing everyone and enjoy ur life.
