gamers which is better ATI graphic cards or NVIDIA graphic cards

hmmm guys which is better and will give better performance.. actually Im a Nvidia guy I have a xfx 9800 gtx+ 512 mb but based on my research some of ati cards are better than nvidia.. give some comments and opinions guys share us everything..

Nvidia does have a better compatibility but ati do give a better performance but not by far. Its similar to the ps3 and xbox 360. The ps3 performs better but the xbox has better games.

ATi is improving ..with the backup of the second giant cpu maker amd.. Thus I believe current offering by ATi is better than nvidia

Current offering by intel is not really enticing..As their Gpu unit is not that powerful as compared with ATI and Nvidia

Nvidia cards are much better than ATI cards as nvidia is a technology that gives you discrete video memory and does not share that with the system memory

i prefer Nvidia to ati cards. i had been using Nvida cards and it works well.

yeah probably its nvidia.. but others prefer ati hahahaha.. ati and nvidia is a great match up

buth are quite good just check the requirements of your games which will surely help you to find best deal for you. but in my personal opinion NVIDIA is better than ATI

I have to disagree with all of you, what nvidia does is release "a new card" but its really not its just a new sticker, but the same card from previous releases, i prefer ATi
