pancake syrup

If I am going to splurge and have pancakes, I prefer to have the best syrup possible. The best syrup to me is maple syrup. Ohhhhhh, now I'm hungry for pancakes. Because of all the bad affects that artificial sweeteners have and the fact that corn products really bother me (high fructose corn syrup), that leaves me little choice but to use maple syrup or honey. I like honey but not on pancakes. I don't know how agave would taste but that would probably be a very healthy choice.
