Best advice you have ever ignored ?

I grew up on a farm. My dad was a farmer and had no sons. There were four of us girls. I was the oldest. I really wanted to show dad that it was okay to just have daughters. He never complained about not having a son, but I still wanted him to be very proud of me. While working on the farm, there were many things that I lifted and carried that was way beyond my strength. My mother used to tell me to be careful and not lift more than I could handle. I just ignored her because, although it was hard, I was young and felt there was no harm being done. Now that I am older, I do from time to time have back issues. It is manageable, but I could have avoided the whole thing by following good advice.

I should take on my courses aggressively, and pay more attention to my classes as my parents advised me too. I didn't listen, but I waste majority of time on playing, and something I shouldn't do. Now, I regret deeply, and I shouldn't done those things. The biggest regret I ever had.

Hi there , Good topic you chose, The best advice that i have got is that "only HARD WORK pays" ...this has been a motivating factor to me ,when i feel really complacent or sometimes Lazy .Thinking of that advice i picture many greats of the world ,gettinng their work done only by hard work,and so to i start working hard . Try it , its the best i have received so far . Cheers
