Is it okay if I don't exercise today?

Hi! I'm already feeling very guilty because I ate way too much today and did not exercise as much as I have to! It is because I have a really heavy period and as soon as I start working out, terrible cramps begin. I tried my best to do some strength training but sad to say I feel so weak to even carry a light weight! :-( I feel so sad that I can't exercise today. I already took some iron supplements. I hope anyone could make me feel better and stop me from being too hard on myself. I feel bad when I skip a day of exercise especially when I over ate... Is it okay if I did not exercise today?

If don't really matter if you skip one day of exercise. If everday you do your execises, it does't really matter. Ya it would be a shame now if everyday you keep on telling the same thing and neglect your exercises. I would suggest you to take a rest today and tomorrow you continue with your exercises.

If you have been keeping to a routine of exercise regularly, I am sure it is okay to break away from it for a day or two. No one is perfect. And no one has perfect schedules all the time. There are days when the situation does not permit one to exercise at all. Don't be too hard on yourself. You are not alone!

Hi jaymeeliz,i am sure to tell you it is okay for you today.i don't think one day no excercise could make your body more heavy.but insist on doing exercise for long time and keep your body better.by the way,dont eat too much again.i ate much tonight oo.but i am ok to type here.lol,be happy
