What are some of the wierd things you have done for weight loss?
My husband was actually hospitalized in High School for anorexia, he was a wrestler and wanted to keep his weight down, so he lived on 4 saltines and a carrot a day, and drank nothing but water. He was hospitalized when he passed out in class.
I have never gone that extreme, but I did the T-factor diet in high school, which is no fat, and a few years ago I tried the Adkins diet, which is no carbs. I actually lost 80 pounds on the Atkins diet, but I started losing my hair, somy husband made me stop.
I have a friend who is doing the lemon juice and cayenne pepper diet. No results yet, she just started.

I think the most extreme diet I ever did was the Atkins diet. The diet did work and I lost 30 pounds but after a few months I started to feel weak so I had to stop. Walking is the best way to lose weight and you dont even have to diet.

I just bought the set of videos called "Walk Away the Pounds" I am on day 2 of the one mile walk. I hope it starts to work, I have about 150 pounds to lose, and I don't want to have surgery.

I've went through many years of trying every weight loss idea out there - and strongly discourage anyone from doing any of the fad diets/ideas that are out there. Developing healthy eating habits that you can follow through your life is the only way to go.

I just started the Atkins's Diet, again. Every time I am on it, I get low blood sugar and I start to shake. I have to hurry and get a snicker's. This happens about a week into the diet. I am adding one glass of chocolate soy milk. It has organic ingredients, however, it does have a little sugar. I guess I am on a reduced carb, not low-carb diet. I have been eating low car pastas and tortillas. I am aiming for 50 carbs, rather than 20. I will keep you posted on how it works out.
