I could stay without these for 2-3 days maybe. Im not sure about the water though. I would need that alot just to survive but electricity isn't that important.

As long as I've got gas so I can cook dinner, I think I could manage without water or electricity just for a day, but not much longer than a day else the toilet will get rather yucky.

I can live without electricity,I can just go out doors, soak up the sun and the moon and the stars and drink up to fight the heat. :)

I have had to live without both for several days. I have been through hurricanes and tornadoes but never an earthquake. I had relatives in the Alaskan Earthquake many years ago and they had terrible stories about it. So, I would say earthquake is worse. The hurricane I went through caused a lot of hardships such as no water or electricity. Also, we had no gasoline all of this for days. All the food in my freezer ruined.

unfortunately, i've had 2 endure both @ the same time. north carolina had a major ice storm in 2002. we lost power and our water comes from a well that needs electricity 2 run the pump. on the 2nd day, i went and got a hotel, 1 of only 4 in the city that had power. i was in the hotel for 4 days b4 power was restored in my area.
