Have you ever made your own dog biscuits?

My brother and his girlfriend just adopted a cute little puppy. He's a schnoodle - which I didn't know existed until I met him! Apparently this is a mix between a schnauzer and a poodle. He looks like a mini schnauzer though. I had wanted to make him some biscuits to "welcome" him into the family but I don't know a good recipe. Have you ever made your own dog biscuits? Is there a site where I can find some different recipes? Please share if you have! Thanks!
