I am looking for some healthy foods to eat that are anti-inflammatory. What kind of foods offer this benefit? Do you eat them on a regular basis?

Stay away from processed foods, and food that have a lot of sugar in them. So i Guess an anti inflammatory diet is just a good all around diet. Eat a lot of fresh, fruits and vegetables. Drink water. exercise...ect, ect. I do not know of any specific food that will reduce inflammation, but i am going to look around and see if i can find something for you. all i have found is to stay away from cretin foods listed above.

It is said that ginger is anti-inflammatory, but it depends how and where the inflammation occurs. It has been discovered that the nervous system and the immune system works very closely together, so lower stress, and a more content frame of mind leads to fewer infections or disease that can cause inflammation. - Derek

Actually, I have bookmark this page long time ago after my heart disease. It is easy to read, as is it published in two (2) columns just like pros and cons; EAT THESE and AVOID THESE; seems like one mom converse with her kid...LOL!. The link;http://www.skyhillinstitute.org/documents/Anti-inflammatory%20diet.pdf On regular basis, of course one tea spoonful everyday for olive oil. Great!

There are many food that are labelled as antiinflammatory just as some foods can also cause or make inflammation worse. Diets high in sugar and fats are bad for inflammation and can add to the problem.. There are many things that are anti-inflammatory especially in the fruit and vegetable category..Also certain spices and oils and green tea. The best of all is the vegetables because they contain less sugar content. Some of the vegetables include, cabbage, spinach, kale, brussel sprouts, garlic, olives, beet greens, cauliflower, bell peppers, green beans, green onions and sweet potatoes. Some examples of fruit would be blueberries, strawberries, lemons, lime, kiwi, apples , fresh pineapple, rhubarb, tomatoes, oranges , papaya and currants. Also there are seeds or nuts such as sunflower seeds, flax seed, walnuts, hazelnuts. Also fish such as tuna salmon, cod, halibut. whitefish, herring, trout, striped bass and oysters. But please also remember that as well as including these foods daily to help with inflammation, so does exercise help as well

Anything that contains Omega3, such as oily fish, as Omega3 is a natural anti-inflammatory. Some margarines contain Omega3 as well. Also flaxseed oil, which I think is also called linseed oil.

There are several anti-inflammatory food out there. Along with the omega 3 and flaxseed oil, plain old olive oil reduces inflamation, pain caused by inflammation, and assists with cardio vascular disease. Whole Grains high in fiber also help reduce inflammation along with good protein like nuts and seafood. Blueberries and Strawberries are very good sources of anti-inflammatories packed with anti-oxidents so i highly recommend those. Plenty of water and herbal teas help too. Hope this helps!!
