"People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime."

I have heard this quote an abundance of times and as I read it at different points in my life I realize how true it is. I feel that every person belongs in your life to teach you something about yourself, help you learn something you hadn't known before or inspire you to do something you otherwise wouldn't have done. Some of these people don't' stay in your life forever but while they were there they still made an impact. Pain sucks but in the end that too helps us grow. Some people end up in a relationship where they feel like who they're with is forever. Then a bit down the road things change and you go your separate ways. When you come out of that relationship you not only hold pain in your heart but you've taken away something else you may not have known before. Be it if your too honest, too loving, you care for everyone, too trusting or on the positive side that your just an amazing person and helped someone change their life around, that you learned to be more trusting or that you just realized that your stronger and more independent that you thought you were. I'm a firm believer that everyone leaves an imprint on our lives good or bad the imprint and the lesson within the foot print is there. Think to the people who have been in your life for a reason, season or life time. Think to what you may have learned from them, may have taken from when they were in your life or if they're still there. What does this quote mean to you? For some it may mean nothing but to others it may mean a lot. Share your ideas and thoughts on this matter. I'd love to see what others think.

personally I believe in reincarnation and karma. People come in and out of your life because they were supposed to. Many times to teach you a lesson or for you to teach them a lesson. i also believe that you cannot know joy without knowing pain. i think back to the people who made a big impact on who i am. some of them were in my life for a short time but they taught me a lot and forced me to see things i might not have seen without them to guide me. we are always changing and growing and if we are lucky enough to find love in our life if it goes i believe we should be thankful for the experience. i have been made stronger just by being open enough to learn from others. good discussion...thanks

Very insightful and well put Momma. I agree with everything you said especially about the part that if they weren't there to guide you you may not have been taught that lesson etc.

people who comes for reason will not last for long time and people who comes in a season will lost very soon than the people comes for a reason and people who comes for life time will remain with us till we are alive
