your life? Two of the classes looked like computer-assisted drafting and three were in a metal shop classroom. No, they don't let people who aren't certified in shop classes teach shop. They don't even turn on the electricity besides the lights whenever someone is there that isn't a shop teacher. The CAD seemed really, really interesting. I would have liked to have known or taken a class in that. The computers are down at an angel below a see-thru desk. You can refer to a drawing, a model, or anything else you want on the desk and then look through it to the computer that is angled and try to copy it and then modify it. You can 3-D your drawings and all kinds of cool stuff. Mechanical drawing has gone computerized. It was really, really neat to watch the students. On the other hand, shop class, they had to do worksheets or workbook pages-depended on the class. They were not very happy because they wanted to make things. The CAD classes made my subbing for Technology way different from subbing shop classes in the past, at least for two of the classes. Thanks to Technology, what has changed in your life?
