Should Britain stay in Afghanastan for many more years? Or just leave?

Since 2001, U.K and U.S forces have been fighting non-stop with the Taliban. Their plan, liberate Afghanastan. Should these forces stay or are they fighting a lost war?

if this is just a matter of personal opinion, i'd rather that they leave afghanistan alone. wars are causing enormous losses in life and property. it is best that we live in a war free world. however, i am aware that this cannot be. there are so many aspects which must be taken into consideration. the talibans are among these, that is, as you have pointed out. there is no way at all that that war-free world will ever come into existence. no, not in this life. a war-free world is unattainable in this world because, there will always be bandits, rebels (whatever you may prefer to call them) and, we cannot afford to have them roam around freely unchecked. if we do this, they will multiply in numbers and overrun the world. this is be a much bigger problem then. taking a magnitude which will be insurmountable already.
