I had this same problem, I also had terrible head aches from them. I tried everything, antibiotics, all kinds of over the counter products. Nothing helped. Then i read somewhere that if you get a alignment from a chiropractor that it can help with sinus, and head aches, I went even though it was expensive, (not covered by insurance) It was about $50.00 a visit and i went 2 times a week for about 3 months, and i go every other week now. My sinus are not a problem any more, and my headaches are gone. I don't know if it will work for everyone, but it worked for me. and i suffered for years and years with sinus infections.

Hi, Sinus ache, specially the Headache associated make it almost unbearable. Without painkillers, here are few tips which gave me result:- 1)Clear nose with saline water. 2)Take hot green tea/chicken soup. 3)Take vapor, adding 3-4 drops of Eucalyptus oil in a kettle full hot water. 4)While sleeping take 2 pillows below head, instead one.(raise Ur head). Try this & all the best! =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.

I used to be prone to sinus and throat infections and the prescription medication did very little for me. I started using herbal remedies and reading up on allergies and immonutherapy. I made some changes in my diet and I have hardly had problems since. That was back in the 80's. I have also learned that having too much starch or sugar in your diet can mimick the symptoms of pollen and similar allergies.
