We're going swimming this weekend since it's so hot these days. So where do you think would be better? Swimming pool or the beach?

Swimming pool is not bad but sea beach has extra pleasure. Therefore I would suggest you to go to the beach

It depends.. it's horrible if the sea water is too cold

Thanks for your response. I now realize the positive sides of both the pool and the beach. Happy mylotting.

I prefer the swimming pool, but do like to go to the beach. In pools, I can see what is under my feet, and I don't get sand in odd places. I do like going to the beach to let the kids play, but I usually keep myself on the towel/blanket and just sun.

Same here I don't like getting sand around my toenails but we're bringing the kids along so maybe I'll have my pedicure afterwards lol. Thanks and happy mylotting.

i prefer swimming in a pool. Why? it's cleaner. in the beach anything goes. and the salt content actually will spoil the fabric that you wear into the water. moreover, i'd prefer that if i happen to swallow water, it'll be chlorinated water than salt dirty polluted water.

I like swimming in the river.Feel fresh and energetic after a bath in the river. The water of pool contains chlorine or other bleach but that of river flows constantly. We get the option to swim againts the flow when energetic or along the flow to relax in the river.

Come to think of it swimming pool does contain chemicals like chlorine, it may be harmful to the kids' skin. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting.

I wish it was warm enough here for me to be wondering that same thing! I guess it depends what kind of swimming you want to do. The beach seems pretty fun, but then I don't have any good beaches close to me, so I'm usually stuck just going to the pool. The pool is still fun, but I would love to live near a beach that I could go to regularly! Have a great weekend!!!

Thanks. Our family is also considering to have a place near the beach but maybe in a few more years hehehe. You wouldn't want to wish for 30+ degrees everyday, all we want to do is stay in the house or go to an air conditioned place like the mall. Happy mylotting.

If it would be better prefer to go beach, there you will find the natural beauty as well you can have fun of the sea waves.

When I was in PI, beaches is everywhere. So when I was there, my friends and I would really love to go swimming in the pool. Now that I am here in the states, which my town doesn't have any beaches just lake and river but the water is too cold to swim even on summer!!! We usually go swimming in the pool since my brother in law have a pool in their house, I missed the beach already!!!

I would love to hit the beach somewhere around the evening and have fun there. I dont think its a good idea to go to the beach in the hot scorching sun and would perfer a covered pool in the afternoon.

That's one point that I would tell my hubby coz my son just loves the water and with the heat these days, he'll surely get sunburns.

lucky you having hot days! we're just getting into spring here...well hopefully it will last LOL so ive got another couple months till those hot days swimming pools are great, lots of fun my boyfriend has one so we use it quite often but i would have to choose the beach. only because the atmosphere and the scenery at the beach is just beautiful and i don't get to see it that often

Yes, I feel lucky to have hot days lol. Seriously, we can't take the summer heat anymore. If I had money, I would go to a colder place right now. But we're stuck here so the cheapest thing to cool down is go swimming. Thanks for your response and happy mylotting

I am a beach lover because I love the sound of the waves and the feel of white fine sand on my feet. There are also lots of beach activities to choose from compared to a swimming pool.
