Hi,
As a kid I faced this similiar problem.
My Mom gave me:-
1)Wash the nose with cold water/ice,when it bleeded.
2)Put some vinegar in cotton cloth & rubbed around Nose-ear-throat.
3)4-5 basil leaves+1 tsf of Honey to eat.
4)used to give 2 drops of fresh coriander leaves juice in both nosetrils,3times.
as I was a chronic sufferer, she insisted to continue it.

The only time I've ever had nosebleeds was while I was pregnant with my second child. It was so crazy to me because I had a friend who always got them when we were growing up and I had never had one before. One day I was sitting at work talking to someone and blood just started flowing out of my nose. Afterwards, I looked up some information online and found that nosebleeds are a common pregnancy problem, which I didn't know before. It's weird that I never had a nosebleed with my first pregnancy but had them regularly with my second. I'm not sure what was different. They say that every pregnancy can be very different. My doctor wasn't concerned as long as they stopped within ten minutes and I wasn't losing massive amounts of blood. It was just another fun pregnancy side effect that I had to live with!

OMG! I cannot believe someone actually stuck a match in your nose! That is incredible to me. Even for an adult this seems like an incredibly painful and extreme treatment! It's a good thing you don't get nosebleeds anymore!

When the page reloaded I noticed there were three other nosebleed discussions showing in the right margin. You should check those out just in case.
