My Unexpected morning....

started when I opened the door this morning before taking my son to school, to take my dog to go to the bathroom. And to my surprise there was a dog out there. It was a female with no collar and no leash. SO i decided I would take my dog to the bathroom after i dropped my son off to the bus. SO i took him to the bus and this dog followed us, then followed my son right to the bus door and sat there and when the door closed ran back over to me. So i had to let my dog go to the bathroom, so i got her and this dog was still there on my front porch waiting for me. It is a very freindly dog, but very timid...like if i raise my hand to tell it to go home, it cours away from me. So my dog went to the bathroom, and we have come back inside. But this dog continues to jump at my doors and windows crying. It is currently on my front step...and I am not sure what i should do. ANybody experience anyhting like this before....how do you think it should be handled.
